Brooklyn Little Learners Daycare
We are proud to offer Brooklyn Little Learners Daycare (previously known as Ia's Learning Tree Daycare) a trusted part of the Park Slope childcare community for over 10 years, with five convenient locations serving families across the neighborhood. Our program welcomes children from 12 weeks through 2 years old before they transition to our Little Learners Preschool, providing a true home away from home—warm, safe, and loving.
Who We Are
At Brooklyn Little Learners Daycare, children learn and grow in a nurturing, safe, and joyful space. Founded in 2014 by teacher Ia Kakhidze and her daughter Teona, the school has expanded to multiple warm, welcoming locations.
Our approach draws on John Dewey’s belief in learning through exploration and Maria Montessori’s focus on independence and hands-on experiences. Guest teachers enrich the week with Music, Spanish, Yoga, and other engaging activities.
